Reviews from my clients, my process, and what exactly makes an Emily Crall bride.
"She is the definition of elegance and grace, and she captures just that through her photographs. From the start, she gets to know you as a bride, a couple, and your style. She has the unique ability to capture different styles and she hears what you as a couple/bride wants. My now-husband has told me many times that he wasn't once bothered by having pictures taken as she knew what she needed, told him where to go, and got it done. He normally hates having photos taken and he told me that she was so fast and efficient that it was actually enjoyable for him. To hear him say that just echos how WONDERFUL Emily is. She makes your wedding day special, your engagement photos special, and she is great to work with. We feel SO blessed to have been on our wedding journey with Emily and, if we were to do it again, we would absolutely schedule our date to guarantee not only the quality of the photos taken, but the quality of the photographer. She is truly the best of the best. Thank you Emily!"
"Emily, we just finished looking at our gallery and all we can say is WOW! What beautiful images you are able to give us to remind us of one of the most perfect days of our life! Thank you for helping our hopes of love, joy, and celebration come true on our wedding day. You carry yourself with such grace and ease and we were all so relaxed and I thank you for setting that tone for our day. You have a natural gift of dealing with people and all of your correspondence has been so gracious. You always take ample time to really show why two people are in love and you added so much genuine excitement to our life, relationship, and wedding day. Thank you for capturing such a rich and beautiful day. We could not imagine having anyone else share that day with us! You have the ability to remind us that laughter really is life's sweetest creation."
We had so much fun with Emily and the photos are GORGEOUS!! I am totally obsessed with them. Emily is the absolute best and I will highly recommend her to everyone!
"It's impossible to describe what it's like to work with Emily Crall. It's like coming home - comfortable, warm, relaxed - mixed with the most fun you've ever had. Emily is the ultimate hype girl - she makes you feel gorgeous in every picture you take (even the serious ones where only 5%of the population actually look good), and time flies by because it feels like you're hanging out with your best friend. She puts you at ease while capturing moments you will treasure forever.
"Emily photographed our wedding during an unpredictably stressful time - not only did we have to adapt to a pandemic, we also had a derecho the week of our wedding (and didn't get power at our venue until <24 hours before the big day). Yet, we felt at peace knowing Emily would get excellent shots no matter what. She had already pulled off a rainy engagement photo shoot, so we knew downed power lines and trees would have nothing on her.
"Please make the best decision of your day and have her photograph your wedding - we promise you won't regret it!"
When you inquire with me about your date, I'll get back to you by email within 48 hours. I'll ask a few questions to get a good idea of what your wedding vision is, then we can continue chatting via email or set up a phone call.
This comes with a delivery of my wedding magazine (as well as a little coffee treat!) to help you plan and prep (and caffeinate!) for things as best you possibly can!
I'll work with you to ensure your wildest dreams will come true and that I know which things are most important to you about your day. (All of them, I know!)
This is considered a practice run for the wedding day! I'll teach you everything you need to know about posing and being in front of the camera so you're comfortable and genuine in your photos!
I'll be there every step of the way (along with my second shooter) to make sure the moments that matter are captured so you can relax and enjoy every minute of your day!
I shoot digital with Canon professional camera bodies and lenses. I edit in a bright, classic style to give you true-to-life colors and timeless images.
I am happy to travel for engagement shoots! I actually love it when my couples ask me to photograph them in a location that means something special to them! I book engagement sessions at least two months in advance and 60 miles of travel are included.
I average 50-100 final, edited images per hour that I’m shooting. I love delivering my client’s files quickly and easily via an online gallery system. You will have the ability to print, share, and download your images.
Short answer: yes!! Coverage starts at 8 hours, but you can always add additional coverage as we get closer to the big day and we have a good idea of your custom timeline. For most weddings, 8 hours is a perfect amount of time to capture all the best parts of your day!
I love being both interactive and discreet throughout the wedding day. There will be parts of the wedding day when I will need to be in control in order to accomplish everything that needs to be done while staying on schedule. There will also be moments when you shouldn’t even know that I’m there. I teach my couples how to pose and interact during your engagement session so you are naturals on your wedding day and don’t need quite as much instruction from me!
Once I have answered any questions you may have and you have decided that my Wedding Experience is exactly what you’re looking for, the next step is a booking proposal. I will create an online proposal that will walk you through the steps and, when you’re ready, you can save your date by signing your contract and paying your retainer online.
First Looks are my favorite thing to photograph and, while most couples choose them to alleviate stress, spend most of their wedding day together, and get all formal groupings of photos taken before the ceremony (fresh hair & makeup!), I understand not every couple wants to share a First Look. You are never required to do so and I work with all my couples to create a timeline custom to your day, factoring in the time of sunset and a flow that will give you the most amount of photos with the least amount of time gaps.
